The end of an awesome road trip :) We managed to do the whole thing without killing each other or getting locked out of the car. Now it’s time for a shower and a nap before we tell Becca all about it at dinner.

Tahoe! We’re both pretty excited to get to San Fran, but I’ve (Ann) never been to Lake Tahoe so we had to take a quick detour.

4 hours to San Francisco! Driving through Nevada, we’re getting nostalgic about our trip from SF to Burning Man four years ago. Next stop, Tahoe!

After a surprisingly large number of hotels are booked in Winnemucca are booked up, we settled on the Sturgeon motel in Lovelock for our last roadtrip night.
The Lovelock motto is “Lock your love in Lovelock.” Well, the three red-eyed gamblers in the lobby casino didn’t strike me as romantic, but who knows. . .
